Good to know. The difference is just the device name the virtual NIC gets added as in the guest OS. eth0 gets used when I try this out in VMware too - not sure why the difference in this case. But the script could be made a bit more flexible to handle this and similar scenarios.

Hello, This is what worked for me. Increased the Region Server heap size it to 500 MiB, redeployed client configuration and restarted HBase. I was able to get sql line phoenix script working for me.

That public IP does not match the Manager Node of any cluster that's been deployed so I can't be sure (send me a private message with your access code if you'd like me to be sure), but judging by the timing of your message and your username, the final email was successfully sent on Fri, Mar 11, 2016 at 5:14 PM Pacific Time. I would suggest checking your spam folder. If you've shut down or restarted the instances in your cluster, they'll have different public IPs. The cluster itself will pick up on the change but the links in the email and the IP addresses the Live service recorded won't be useful anymore (and I suspect this is why I can't find a cluster with the IP 54.175.223.217. If you can SSH to your Manager Node, the Hue and CM password can be found in /var/tmp/cm_hue_admin_password.txt. Other information you need can be found by just entering that IP address into your browser.

Klaus,
Images posted to the community go through moderation before being widely viewable. I looked into the images from your previous posts and discovered it was my own error that deleted the images. I guess I hadn't had enough coffee yet and accidentally hit delete when I meant to hit approve. My apologies. 🙂

Thank you! I had the same problem and it has solved it. Unfortunately there is a lot of old installation tutorial that fail to mention that.

Just an FYI. This last time the install went fine. After Cloudera came up, Zoomdata was also available. Neat stuff! Thanks

In a nutshell it looks like the cluster hit some delays trying to download Red Hat packages and eventually when it got much further past that the machines were being torn down. Almost all other clusters have been deploying fairly well since my last post, so I'll reach out to via private message to confirm some details and help you get a working cluster.

Thanks. Just tried and got the form. It would be great if someone could make the forms easily accessible. If you notice, even though all the other webpages that link to http://www.cloudera.com/live mention about filling out a form/getting access none of these words appear on the actual page - "access", "form", etc ... all it states is what Cloudera Live does without explaining how to actually use it. It is possible that there are other users like myself, who having not found the terms would find it much easier to shift to a competing Hadoop product which might be more readily available to the end-user.
