Hi @bess rim Confirm that your password-less SSH is working correctly on all nodes, also make sure you are using a sudo capable user.

Hi @Federico Ceravolo with the latest Ambari version, you can actually automate the dir creation, and include any other changes you need (such as the group moditifcation) by editing a script that is included in Ambari called the post-user creation hook script. You may want to look at it rather than doing it manually for each user via the Ambari Files View or something: https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-2.5.0.3/bk_ambari-administration/content/create_user_home_directory.html

Hi @Narasimma varman NiFi can export/import flows via templates. You can save your flow as a template (xml file), and import the template from a file as well. https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDF3/HDF-3.0.0/bk_user-guide/content/Create_Template.html https://community.hortonworks.com/questions/46683/how-to-save-my-nifi-flow-into-xml.html

hi @Sami Ahmad The pig view isnt created by default, nor created with teh installation of the pig service. Using an admin account in Ambari, navigate to Manage Ambari -> Views -> Pig and click the Create Instance view and fill out the details. The view will then appear in the dropdown list.

Hi @M R NiFi can do this. You may want to look at the EnforceOrder processor in the latest NiFi version. In a clustered enviornment, you can have most of your processors distributed throughout the cluster but one of the last processors in the flow could be EnforceOrder, which should be run only on a Primary Node to ensure that the order is maintained. Also, use FIFO prioritization with it. https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/components/org.apache.nifi/nifi-standard-nar/1.3.0/org.apache.nifi.processors.standard.EnforceOrder/index.html

Hi @Yliy Scherbak The only time I've run into that is when I was logged into Ambari with a non-admin user. Make sure you are logged in as an Ambari user with admin rights.

Hi @John Bowler No problem - you can do the same with Hive View. After you upload your file, but before moving on, click the gear icon next to the file type. That will bring up an advanced settings menu that contains the First Row header checkbox also.

Hi @John Bowler The tutorial shows screenshots of Hive View 2.0, but your screenshot looks different because I think it is the original Hive View. In Ambari, try using the Hive View 2.0 and the screens should match.

Awesome - Chrome is my browser of choice as well. If you see weird quirks, usually just a hard refresh fixes!

Hi @John Bowler I've seen this once before when using Windows based folders as the source of the upload. Are you using the Ambari Files view to do the upload? Try simplifying/correcting the path or use the Files view to manually upload the files which should work. /user/maria_dev/data/C:UsersABDocumentsDad's StuffHadoopgeolocation.csv
