It seems public key retreival is false. Please check in the ranger audits what is the user getting authorized when you are seeing the tables through ODBC.

Hi @badsha, did you configure kerberos in the windows client machine https://community.cloudera.com/t5/Community-Articles/User-authentication-from-Windows-Workstation-to-HDP-Realm/ta-p/245957 Please configure this, if you can't install kerberos, then you can access the hive though knox and you can using ldap credentials

Hi @MaraWang please work with AD team to enusre the bind user have required rights (add, delete and modify) in order to do required actions in AD using the user. And you can refer the KB article below to have additional permission for all machine accounts ("objectclass=computer") associated with the cluster hosts. Hi @Chetankumar , the mentioned configs are related to user group mapping in HDFS. May I know if yo have enabled these? Also do you want to change the bind user or only the searchbase?

Hi @HadoopHero, can you please check if ranger impala plugins are syncing. go to ranger UI--> audit--> plugin status --> search for impala and attach screenshot
