Okay, so here is my suggestion.   Check what is the type of scheduler in your YARN config If it is Fair Scheduler, change it to Capacity Scheduler, restart the services and observe whether the error with Impala is gone. In case it is Fair Scheduler and changing the scheduler is not something you want to do, then configure Queue placement policies as shown here, Restart the services and observe whether the errors in Impala have gone.
