Hi Artem, we have installed the pig service through ambari. whatever you have provided in link those options are not available in my server. Is there any other way to upgrade individual component manually. thanks, Narasimha

Hi Geoffrey, No. it didn't worked. i have done the same steps which were there in below link, but where we can pass the latest pig version for upgrade. procedure for HDP with Ambari can you please let me know where we can pass the latest pig version. Thanks, Narasimha

Hi, We are planning to upgrade pig 0.15.0 to 0.16.0. We are using Hortonworks( Ambari version is 2.2). We don't have any option to upgrade the service from ambari. Can you please help me the steps to upgrade the pig service manually. Thanks, Narasimha

Hi, I have 10 applications. Each application has its own databases in hive. Here i want to enable permissions, only the application users can access this application and other users cannot access this application. Like this we want to set permissions to other folders Can someone help us how we can set a permission's in application wise.

@Vivek, If it is single digit nodes we can update the agent manually. For example: If it is 500 Node cluster, is there any way to sync up the updated agent in all the nodes at a time?

Hi Guys, We are using 24 node cluster. We have upgraded my Ambari-server and ambari agent in main server. How can i sync up the ambari agent in all other nodes. Can someone please help us?
