SWITCHDATABASE privilege missing when trying to run a select Privileges the user has.
Working in Hue, I want this user "user" to access Hive tables.
As seen in the images, in the context of a proof of concept. User have privilege to any action on the server. However, when I try to run a simple select * in Hue, I got a SWITCHDATABASE missing privilege error.

Doing a proof of concept for intern documentation, using quickstart VM 5.12.0. We have the following users: user cloudera After setting permisions and being sure that cloudera has admin permissions, something strange happens: Cloudera does not see any table and cannot run any query in Hive, despite I set permissions, however, Cloudera can set permissions in Hue. "user": Can not access to any table in Hive (via Hue) despite I have set permissions.

Hello I'm doing a proof of concept of Cloudera Navigator in a VM. I wonder if it is possible to configure certain Hive columns or certain Hive tables to be read only by certain users. Is it possible to do it only with Cloudera Manager or do I need other tools? Regards.
