@P_Bright @tpsv Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Yes. The Cloudera Quick start VM has been discontinued as It was based on CDH 5.13 which is going end of support in the Fall of this year. As we have introduced CDP so it's available to taste and to get you experience new exciting feature of it. But if you need it badly then as an alternate method if you only needs Cloudera Quickstart VM for some old version you can try to download from a cache image link: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:J6-YuY5yDUYJ:https://www.cloudera.com/downloads/quickstart_vms.html+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=in Also you can try an docker image of Cloudera available publicly on https://hub.docker.com/r/cloudera/quickstart or simply run below command to download this on docker enabled system. docker pull cloudera/quickstart NOTE: Cloudera Don't support QuickStart VM Officially.

@CaptainJa The version of Tomcat used in CDH 5.16.2 should not have any vulnerabilities. Could you share the CVE that is reported CDH is vulnerable to? Per the notice [1] independent upgrade of Tomcat is not supported and we are moving towards newer versions in CDH6 => Cloudera Enterprise 6 has replaced Tomcat 6 with Jetty 9 and is not susceptible to Tomcat security issues. @SVK NO. Airflow is not a part of the Cloudera suite of application. While you can definitely use 3rd party CSDs in general [1], or make your own CSDs, the support of it is outside Cloudera's scope. If you do pursue to install, my suggestion is to install in a dev/test environment and test it out. Once you are comfortable with the product then you can install into your production cluster. Again this is not under Cloudera Support's Scope. Feel free to reach out to your accounts team if you need more information about Cloudera's offerings. @johnwook Sorry, You can not change password for local user from CDSW directly. Though forgot password method is a workaround for this. Please enter this URL in browser http://cdsw.company.com/forgot-password and then follow the Wizard, you will be able to put new password here. Cheers, Spent sometime to mark this as solution if this resolves your issue.

@sergei_P I am not very sure about 5.4.4 as it's very old version an unsupported now [1]. But in the recent versions the script looks valid to me, as we have modified this parameter more precisely. #!/usr/bin/env bash # Copyright (c) 2011 Cloudera, Inc. All rights reserved. set -e set -x # Explicitly add RHEL5/6, SLES11/12 locations to path export PATH=/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/lib/mit/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/lib/mit/bin:/usr/bin:$PATH CMF_REALM=${CMF_PRINCIPAL##*\@} KEYTAB_OUT=$1 PRINC=$2 MAX_RENEW_LIFE=$3 KADMIN="kadmin -k -t $CMF_KEYTAB_FILE -p $CMF_PRINCIPAL -r $CMF_REALM" Notice this CMF_REALM=${CMF_PRINCIPAL##*\@} in code. You may try to tweak script in this way. I would recommend to use some newer version of Cloudera Data Hub. [1] https://www.cloudera.com/legal/policies/support-lifecycle-policy.html Cheers

This could be the endless discussion, but the whole thing is Getting Support = Valid Subscription You can always try the repo for evaluation purpose meant for trial by just registering you email, but at the end of the day in Enterprise if you need support then you will come at same point.

@saivenkatg55 Can you confirm both the source and destination cluster is not Kerberized? Please upload the full stack from the error message. Also It worth to check if the use case is actually suited for using HDFS's NFS Gateway role[1] which is designed for such remote cluster access. @Derick It's open source but to access the binaries you need valid subscription. Please follow the thread for more details: https://community.cloudera.com/t5/Support-Questions/Is-CDP-open-source/m-p/286941/highlight/true#M212755
