I am trying to setup a cluster of with three machines. My OS is ubuntu16.04 and I am using Ambari 18.104.22.168 I setup a local repository with no internet access with HDP-3.1 on my Ambari-Server machine, by enabling an apache server and then copying the tarball files: HDP from http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP/ubuntu16/3.x/updates/22.214.171.124/HDP-126.96.36.199-ubuntu16-deb.tar.gz HDP-UTILS from http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP-UTILS-188.8.131.52/repos/ubuntu16/HDP-UTILS-184.108.40.206-ubuntu16.tar.gz HDP-GPL from http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP-GPL/ubuntu16/3.x/updates/220.127.116.11/HDP-GPL-18.104.22.168-ubuntu16-gpl.tar.gz Into my /var/www directory and then unziped them by tar -zxvf <file_name.tar.gz> From each node I am able to connect to to this repository-server (which runs on the Ambari-Server machine) by using the following addresses: http://10.144.129.174/hdp/HDP/ubuntu16/22.214.171.124-78/
http://10.144.129.174/hdp/HDP-UTILS/ubuntu16/126.96.36.199/ The problem is that during the installation I have Error massages saying: RuntimeError: Failed to execute command '/usr/bin/apt-get -o Dpkg::Options::=--force-confdef --allow-unauthenticated --assume-yes install hdp-select', exited with code '100', message: 'E: Unable to locate package hdp-select' It seems like the Ambari-Agents are not able to access to this "hdp-select" package during the install. I am attaching some screen shoots of what I can see from an internet browser while accessing these links. http://10.144.129.174/hdp/HDP/ubuntu16/188.8.131.52-78/ http://10.144.129.174/hdp/HDP-GPL/ubuntu16/184.108.40.206-78/ http://10.144.129.174/hdp/HDP-UTILS/ubuntu16/220.127.116.11/ Any help would be welcome. Thanks in advance!

Hi I am trying to install a cluster for testing. I followed the steps in https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-18.104.22.168/bk_ambari-installation/content/ch_Getting_Ready.html And now I am trying to install and deploy my cluster using Ambari 2.7.3 During the setup of the repositories, as I have a access to the internet, I chose "Use Public Repository" with the following URLs: HDP-3.1: http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP/ubuntu16/3.x/updates/22.214.171.124 HDP-3.1-GPL: http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP-GPL/ubuntu16/3.x/updates/126.96.36.199 HDP-UTILS-188.8.131.52: http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP-UTILS-184.108.40.206/repos/ubuntu16 (I checked the URLs, so no extra spaces on them) The problem is that seems like these URLs are not correct anymore (did they change?) because I have an error flag during the validation phase (see picture below) When I use this URL on my browser I get the following result: <Error><Code>NoSuchKey</Code><Message>The specified key does not exist.</Message><Key>HDP-GPL/ubuntu16/3.x/updates/220.127.116.11</Key><RequestId>B5FA09F12EE680EB</RequestId><HostId>iOp05e25Tf8EUX5il+RhLBUda0e0fL7OrBHf+vRVQmt3vkpoQyD97Suu/ZFejrmTKhpTIRBNGsE=</HostId></Error>
