Is there any use cases we can refer to on how to create a chargeback model on usage of the cluster? Example, we will have different Business units that will run jobs/store data on the cluster and internally , operation needs to define a charge back for their usage. We were thinking of about incorporating the cost per CPU/memory/storage or number of jobs/queue defined. Any ideas, guideness is always appreicauted.

Solution was to add the missing property, broker.id = 0

Installing Ambari 2.2, it seem that the kafka properties broker.id is missing, causing kafka broker not to start. Is this a bug? I had to add it to the config as a custom broker.

I had to roll back to the previous ambari version fearing that I may have hit a bug with 2.2. I looked at the table you mention, and I found one type that has two rows. hdfs-log4j. Maybe that was the problem. thanks for the Tip. I will try to update again.

When I run ambari-server upgrade, I get contrainst error: Batch entry 1 INSERT INTO serviceconfigmapping (config_id, service_config_id) VALUES (3, 290) was aborted. Call getNextException to see the cause. this table in in the db, has no dups. thanks
