with NiFi 1.0 The Cluster Coordinator is responsible for disconnecting and connecting nodes. What does that exactly mean and a use case would be appreciated. Additionally does it perform any other task?

In NiFi 1.0 (HDF 2.x) I see illustration of zookeeper handling failover for primary node. Is the primary node simply the data flow manager (UI)? are there other task outside of the UI the primary node performs?

I want to start building a new NiFi Processor. Where is the code hosted as I do not want to deviate from the base? Are they any guides/best practice to build new NiFi processors? Any templates I can start with to start building and possible contribute back to the communitty a new processor?

Using Ambari to install NiFi and MPack seems to be required. MPack comes with storm, kafka,ranger,etc. It is required to install and enable all those services? I want to only install NiFi and therefore assume only select NiFi and ZK will not be an issue. Feedback/insights appreicated.

Planning on installing new HDF 2.0 cluster. Should HDF 2.0 ZK nodes be isolated or colocated with NiFi nodes? I want to colocate. I know NiFi disk need to be dedicated to NiFi. If i can have zk disk isolate from NiFi, I assume CPU might take a hit. Wondering how much and if this is a common practice.

I am setting up 1 node cluster and reading about setting nifi.cluster.is.node. I am unsure what to set this to and how it impacts functionality. Insights appreicated.

I have HDP 2.3.x cluster running and interested in install HDF 2.0. I want to setup NiFi with HA which requires ZK. Does HDF 2.0 requires its own ZK quorum or can I use my existing ZK quorum on HDP with HDF?
