Hi, I have a similar problem with HDP 2.5.0.0. While in my repo definitions file (hdp.repo) I have: baseurl=http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP/centos7/2.x/updates/2.5.0.0 after installing Pig client through Ambari I see in the yum log files the following: Nov 07 18:16:32 Installed: pig_2_5_0_0_1245-0.16.0.2.5.0.0-1245.el6.noarch Nov 07 18:16:36 Installed: datafu_2_5_0_0_1245-1.3.0.2.5.0.0-1245.el6.noarch Maybe, it's nothing to be concerned about but one would expect to see el7.centos instead of el6 in the release part. ...
