I am getting an error as Unable to locate package ambari-server. Following are the steps i followed to setup ambari/HDP: 1) downloaded the tar's(ambari,HDP,HDP-UTILS). Untared in /var/www/html/ path 2) registered the repo path's wget -nv http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP/ubuntu14/2.x/updates/2.4.0.0/hdp.list wget -nv http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/ambari/ubuntu14/2.x/updates/2.2.1.0/ambari.list 3) wget -nv http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/ambari/ubuntu14/2.x/updates/2.2.1.0/ambari.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ambari.list apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com B9733A7A07513CAD apt-get update 4) apt-get install ambari-server Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Unable to locate package ambari-server I am unable to solve this issue.
