use --ambari.host and not --ambari.server I have merged the outstanding pull requests from the sequenceiq repo into mine. Check it out here: https://github.com/philippeback/ambari-shell

In Oozie, redirection may work at the job level but I have another issue, namely that the Oozie WebUI shows nothing for action info when say, "other" RM is active. For some reason, either redirection is not occuring there or there is a configuration to set in Oozie WebUI that makes that redirection happen. HDP 2.3 here. Clues?

I have created a service YARNUI to show the yarn ui. This works but for the RM HA, the standby RM gives back a redirect to the active one. How can I grab this redirect and have Knox go there to do the rewriting based on that new address? Is there any Dispatch thing I can use out of the box for that purpose on Knox 0.6? Knox 0.9 has some new UIs for the web UIs but cannot be easily put in place in HDP due to large differences between them. Any plans to go to 0.9 in a future HDP release? Also, what about supporting multiple topologies in Ambari UI?

Looks like that freeipa-client on CentOS6.x is not adding the default_ccache_name entry in the /etc/krb5.conf while it adds it in CentOS7, and the KEYRING: thing makes it all go bonkers indeed. Thanks a lot for the pointer!!!!

all kbr5.conf, you mean on nodes accessing the cluster, or all nodes where ipa-client has been installed? (including cluster nodes then).

Same issue. Unchecking the checkboxes for gzip etc allowed to move forward. I used 'hortonworks' as the password. But the thing failed, a tad later. Windows 8.1 Pro

Why no Spark support on Windows anymore? 1.3.1 feels like the stone age. As is HDP 2.2.x BTW.
