HBase replication between HDP 2.2 and HDP 2.3 or higher

Hi,

Did anyone had a situation already to have working replication between HDP 2.2 and HDP 2.3 or higher? Or, to be more precise, between HBase 0.98.+ to HBase 1.*?

Use case is to upgrade cluster by cluster in our case, but to have replication flowing.

Yes, this should work fine.

I've tested HBase replication between HDP2.2,2.3 and 2.4, it works fine! including update,insert master-to-master, master-to-slave, slave-to-master-to-slave, slave-to-slave-to-master.
