Hortonworks HDP 2.4 none of shell is working (SSH from putty, default, built in webclient)

I have downloaded and installed Hortonworks HDP 2.4 on Windows 10 (Oracle VM) I can access Ambari, and other modules but when I try to login using shell like from Putty, or the default i.e. by clicking alt+f5 or inbuilt webclient and then enter root/hadoop as username and pass it says incorrect login. admin/admin is also not working for any of the shell. Please help.

Hi @Aniruddh Kendurkar.

So the first time you log in should be username root password hadoop, however upon successful login it will ask you to change your password etc.

I have just created a fresh HDP 2.4 sandbox to verify this operation. Are you sure you certain you haven't done that before?

If you re-import the machine image again from scratch, does it still do the same thing?

@Aniruddh KendurkarFor first SSH login you can use credentials root/hadoop but then it prompts to change password.

Also , Ambari server web UI credentials are not admin/admin , you need to reset the ambariserver password.
