In HDPCD-Spark exam, how to solve the tasks given?

As we know that, there are 3 different ways to solve the tasks viz. using RDD, DF & SQL queries.

Hence, my question here is that:

can i solve the tasks as per my choice?

OR

the task itself as mention about which one of above 3 approaches to be used to solve it?

The exam does not specify which method, that is up to you, as long as the output is in the correct format and # records.
