Increase performance of data loading into Hadoop

could you tell is it possible to Increase performance of data loading into Hadoop through Hadoop HDFS API (i mean hadoop fs -put, for example)?

or other ways to load data into Hadoop quickly?

Various tools can be used for importing data to HDFS, including sqoop, flume, or FUSE.
