Ranger ACL for Apache HAWQ / Pivotal HDB

We're planning to add Apache HAWQ / Pivotal HDB on our Hortonworks stack. Can this be secured with Ranger? If not, how do we have ACL or security audit in HAWQ / HDB ?

Currently RANGER is not supported for HAWQ and even HAWQ is not supported to be install/configure from ambari, but yes there is plan for it in future,

You can install and configure Hawq using AMBARI .Please have a look into the below document for the same.

Ranger integration is in roadmap and is in progress .
