Services configuration base on hardware - is there any script?

Hi. I am looking for some script which can help me configure my cluster based on cluster hardware. I know that there is a script hdp-configuration-utils (hdp-configuration-utils on GitHub) but it is old and I don't know if it does make any sense to use it.

My question is - is there any tool or script which can help configure HDP cluster? If hdp-configuration-utils is still good option for that kind of task?

Ambari usually takes care of Configuring the Cluster, but sometimes manual Intervention is needed to Tune to Cluster for Performance as per the UseCase.
