Unable to FTP to cloudera VM

I am trying to FTP some files to CDH5 machine from my windows 10 PC, using winscp/filezilla. But I am unable to do that.

Although I am able to access the internet and do everything on CDH5.

Also, I tried to ping the CDH5 machine. But that is also not working.

Today while I was trying to resolve this issue, I tried to downgrade my VMWARE to version 8.5 and everything started working.
