compiling Impala on CentOS

Hello!

First, thank you so much for the build steps and prereqs on the github wiki. I tried them for Ubuntu, and they got the entire application compiling!

I also tried the steps for CentOS 6.5, but I didn't get quite as far. Some of the steps didn't line up with the wiki docs. For example: libboost files were in a different directory, and though I had the .so files I did not have the .a files.

Should I ask questions about CentOS compilation issues, or is it not really supported?
