hbase-1.1.2-2.3.4.0 Unhandled: null Cause: java.lang.NullPointerException (HBASE-14798)

hi,I meet this HBASE-14798 bug, it says Fix Version/s:2.0.0, 1.2.0, 1.3.0, 1.1.4 will be fixed、

but our hortonworks latest hbase version is hbase1.1.2-2.3.x . I try to fixed this bug use apache hbase1.1.4 source.tar.gz

but ,I meet some error in this fixed hbase-server.jar.

what should I do ?

@Xiaojie Ma - What is the version of HDP you are using.

I can see that this is already part of the latest HDP 2.5

I use HDP 2.3.4.0-3485, I don't want to upgrade hdp

Yeah, I can see that this is not yet back ported into HDP 2.3.

can you give me a patch for hdp2.3.4 or a fixed hbase-server.jar for hdp2.3.4?

[root@hdfs002 hbase-1.1.2.2.3.4.0]# git apply ../1.patch

Please involve Hortonworks support if you are a customer; Hortonworks can release a patch for you if it's technically possible based on specifics of the JIRAs. If you don't have support, then I will suggest to get the Hortonworks Support. Thanks!
