mapping elasticsearch to hive

i can map a hive table to elasticsearch by specifying a elasticsearch storage handler , but can i map an elasticsearch index to an existing hive table? can that table be ORC, partitioned n bucketed ?

any examples would do

No you cannot map an elastic index to hive table.
