Ambari and Chef. Will this combination be supported in the future?

Hortonworks does not use puppet agent with HDP 1.3 but we still use puppet locally on each node invoked by Ambari Agent. 

Currently there are no plans to support chef or puppet in a way that IT can manage configuration of HDP clusters from their own scripts.
