PROBLEM STATEMENT:

#hdfs dfsadmin -report shows "Blocks with corrupt replica : 20 "

& #hdfs fsck / shows " Corrupt blocks : 0 "

But.. "Corrupted block" shows as 20 from Ambari and Summary of HDFS services shows " Block 20 corrupt / 0 missing / ... "

ROOT CAUSE: Ambari shows its "Corrupted Block" but its "Corrupted Replica"

RESOLUTION: This is a BUG -https://hortonworks.jira.com/browse/BUG-41958, which is fixed in Ambari version-2.2.2
