Alternative JRE for Impala JDBC driver?

My company does not allow Java any more. Does the Impala JDBC driver work with alternatives, such as Zing?

@ksmiller99 If your company has completed banned Java, then using JDBC is not possible, Impala’s JDBC driver cannot work without a JVM

You can try other approach like ODBC driver or Impyla to connect to Impala
