Alternatives for CentOS 7 for CD6.3.0

As you know CentOS Linux 7 will reach end of life (EOL) on June 30, 2024: https://www.redhat.com/en/topics/linux/centos-linux-eol

We are running HBase on Cloudera Director 6.3.0 (free license). As I understand it supports only RHEL/CentOS 7.x (https://docs.cloudera.com/documentation/director/6-3-x/topics/director_deployment_requirements.html).

Is it possible to update it to Centos 8+ or to any alternative Linux distribution like Alma?

But maybe you're aware about any options to mitigate the CentOS7 shutdown?
