CDH 5.16 on Ubuntu 18

Can someone let me know if CDH 5.15 and CDH 5.16 is supported on Ubuntu 18? The below doc does not mention anything about Ubuntu 18 so just confirming

Is there any plan of supporting CDH 5.6.x on Ubuntu 18 ?

I'm not aware of any plans, we've only been doing maintenance releases on CDH5
