Deploy client configuration freezes in Cloudera cluster of hundreds of hosts.

There are several hundreds of hosts in Cloudera cluster. One infra service is located on all the hosts. Deploying its client configuration freezes the Cloudera UI for several minutes and sometimes fails.

How to debug this issue, any log to look on?

Start with the CM server log at

/var/log/cloudera-scm-server/cloudera-scm-server.log

and then look at agent logs at 

/var/log/cloudera-scm-agent/cluster-scm-agent.log
