Docker Quickstart Image Issue: Starting hue: [FAILED]

avatar
Explorer

I'm running the image using

docker run --hostname=quickstart.cloudera --privileged=true -t -i -p 8888 cloudera/quickstart /usr/bin/docker-quickstart

Everything is ok, except Hue. Here are the logs.

Any chance you could take a look at /var/log/hue/hue.log after the
container starts up? The boot log doesn't give any information other than
the fact that it did fail...

Try updating the ram of the docker vm to 8gb+.

I get the same error, but note that HUE is running by connecting to the appropriate mapped port on my host. So I ignore the error.

After you started the clourdera

try this

[root@quickstart /]# sudo service hue start

The system replyed :

Starting hue: already running
