HDP/HDF Upgrade to CDP Private Cloud Base

Hi Team,

We are using HDP-3.x & HDF-3.x in our environment.

Is it possible to do in-place upgrade from HDP-3.x to CDP Private Cloud Base ?

Also, how to upgrade HDF-3.x to CDP ?

Link to respective documentations would be really helpful.

Please suggest ways to do upgrade.

Hi Bhushan, 

The best way to approach this is to reach out to your account team as they will have a better idea of your environment and nuances. At a high level, an in-place upgrade from HDP/HDF 3 to CDP will be available early 2021.

Currently we do not have subscription for HDP/HDF cluster.
