Hadoop Cluster deployment in azure using cloudbreak

I have got 4 VM's and Virtual network already running in Azure account. I wanted to confirm that will cloudbreak be able to set up hadoop cluster on those 4 VM's or will it launch 4 new VM's for cluster setup? I got stuck at this point as i have already paid for 4 VM's but as per current understanding cloudbreak is unable to launch cluster in those already running VM's. Please correct me if i am wrong.

In case cloudbreak is not able to install cluster on existing VM's, What do we do with old VM's? Should we delete those VM's?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Rahul

Cloudbreak launches new VMs. It cannot install HDP on existing VMs. If you don't need those old VM's then you can delete them.

Just a quick thought. My cloudbreak instance is running on old VM. So if i go by your saying and delete old VM completely then will my new Cluster(on new VM's) still be running? As i would not be able to access cloudbreak UI after deletion of old VM's.

Thanks
