Hortonworks Sandbox - Windows - Virtual Box - Unable to connect

I had in the past used Hortonworks Sandbox version 2.5.  I used to fire up the VM and connect to it using the browser on the host machine.

With version 2.6 and above, this is not working.  The sandbox comes up fine.  I use the url specified in the splash screen to connect - but, getting a page not found message.

Even running a simple command inside the sandbox like "hadoop version" comes up with a command not found message.  

Any pointers to help me resolve this is greatly appreciated.

Hello Sheldon,

Thanks for your message.  You can find the screenshots attached.  

The top left displays the splash screen of the hortonworks sandbox.

The top right is the "Page Not Found" error when using the localhost:4200 URL.  Even if I use the ip address, the result is no different.

The bottom screen is the message I get when I run ifconfig!  It is a "command not found" message.  This is run from within the image.
