Hortonworks Professional Services has extensive knowledge and offerings focusing on enabling the adoption and ultimate success around the adoption of the Hadoop platform. One specific offering the targets supporting customers is the Center of Excellence (CoE) offering.

The CoE offering is a Professional Services led engagement focused on partnering with a customer’s Executive, Business and IT teams to build facilitate the creation of a Big Data and Analytics COE. The primary goals of this engagement are to create the foundational elements of a customer specific shared service providing thought leadership, best practices, research & development, process & governance, support and training to all lines of business across the enterprise by evolving the use of all types of organizational data to drive strategic business value and reduce TCO.

It includes management, program, and technical consulting across various disciplines with the objective of defining the necessary blueprints to facilitate customer success and maturation around the adoption and utilization of their modern data ecosystem.
