With HDP 2.5 this is supported. This tutorial shows connecting Tableau to Phoenix end-to-end:

Not yet. This would be available when Phoenix ODBC driver comes out
See slide 48 from Carter's Hbase webinar here: http://hortonworks.com/partners/learn/#hbase2
Edit: looks like Simba has an Hbase odbc driver which has been used successfully with Tableau but it requires license: http://www.simba.com/connectors/apache-hbase-odbc

Simba driver is available as of HDP 2.5 with additional certification from Simba that it works with Kerberos. Here's the official documentation guide for the ODBC driver https://hortonworks.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/phoenix-ODBC-guide.pdf
