How to speed up the PutElasticsearchHttpRecord processor

Hello,

I am using the PutElasticsearchHttpRecord processor using grok to push data to Elastic, but this processor is too slow to keep up - has anyone had any joys with this processor or is it a bit rubbish?

The version is 1.12.1
