Hue audits not logging consistently

Hue audits are not logging consistently

/var/log/hue/audit/

on CDH 5.16.2

any ideas, is this a bug?

@FredButler The audit logs directory contains the Audits logs from the Cloudera Navigator. So if you Cloudera Navigator is running and collecting the audits for Hue then you can expect the logs here.

thanks for responding, what if the cluster is running Cloudera express? so no navigator.

@FredButler Yes, Navigator is enterprise only feature so if Navigator is not there as a service then these logs will not be generated. The log is controlled by the "Audit Event Tracker" property in Hue configuration when Navigator Audits are enabled for Hue.
