I would like to understand the difference between Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka especially in terms of additional functionality and delivery options and other important functionalities missing in Apache Kafka

Apache Kafka is an open-source stream-processing software platform developed by the Apache Software Foundation written in Scala and Java.
Confluent Platform includes Apache Kafka but also includes few things that can make Apache Kafka easier to use:
