Is cloudera not free to use

How do I download cloudera virtualBox image? I remember a year back there were clear download buttons. What changed and is cloudera not free to use now after the merger? If there is a download link available please direct me there as it is hard to find a way through the new download page on cloudera.

Hi right now there is no free virtual image on the site of cloudera. But you can still download free cloudera express installer here in this link. you will just manually install the cloudera packages from here, just choose what is your OS : https://archive.cloudera.com/cm6/6.3.1/redhat7/yum/cloudera-manager.repo

    I remembered that I could download the newest version of CDF about one year ago.  For me, I found that I couldn't free download the newest CDF now again. The download page mentioned it is just for customers.   So my question is how could we become a customer?  What policy would authorize to the customer? then I could download the newest version of CDF again.

thank you for showing interest in downloading the free trial for CDF.

The download page can be found under [1]. Intro about the CDF product is under [2].

To download the product you will need to register on our website. A pop-up will show up to register or to log in when you select the product to be downloaded, so you do not need to worry about where to register.

Hi Thanks for the reply. 
I would like to know if I can use it on windows?  And for learning purpose can I not use cloudera on a single node on my system like we do in hortonworks hdp 2.6.5 on virtualbox or vmware?

@anand27krishn  CDF packages are not supported on Windows OS but yes you can use single machine like you do for HDP 2.6.5 on virtualbox or vmware. Note that you have to install the VM and respective parcels manually there is no sandbox setup yet for CDF parcels.

For more details for each service you can visit https://docs.cloudera.com/ and select for services like CFM, CSA,CSP and download the trail version parcels.
