Is it possible to get a stable install of Atlas .6 on Ambari 2.4?

I need the newer version of Atlas that is integrated with more tools than Hive, but I am nervous that if i find a way to install the newest version of Atlas onto my Ambari, it will mess up the other tools. Has anyone done this?

The jist is that you would have to do a manual install and then manage Atlas independent of Ambari. There's been a lot of discussion about a new HDP release some time this month though and it will have an even newer version of Atlas. There's been a lot of mention of version 0.7.
