Ranger Tag Masking not being applied

Hello

I am trying to mask some PII data on some of my hive tables.

I followed a tutorial on Cloudera to do that. But looks like it's not working. The masking is not being applied and my seeng the data that I wanted to mask.

Hello

It may need a bit of time, could be a few seconds, to get into effect after you enable the column masking rule
