Hi Everyone,

I’m Sachin Duggal, and I manage a bag manufacturing business. I’m currently exploring HDFS data recovery methods and have come across a question: Is it possible to recover HDFS data using only the block data? If you’ve dealt with something similar or have any suggestions on how this could be done, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

You can recover the corrupted block if you have set the replication factor to default of 3.
