Sqoop Unknown Host Erro

Hi all,

I'm facing an issue while executing sqoop job in cron tab.

I'm Importing data from oracle. My wallet is configured perfectly.

When I am executing the sqoo job as "sqoop job --exec Test" as a shell Command. It is working perfect. When I scheduled and execute the same job in crontab. It appears an error "Unknown host specified". Can anyone help me to fix this out.

Hi @Umair ,

please check oracle data base host name given by you.

copy the host name and check if you can do ping and telnet from your client machine.
