Hi Team, I need some clarification to understand spark history server web UI. On spark history server I can see executor status as active on one of spark application. as per my understanding after spark context is exited spark application logs are moved to spark history server and it should show executor status as dead. my questions is WHY EXECUTOR STATUS IS SHOWING IS ACTIVE ON SPARK HISTORY SERVER ( highlighted in yellow ) I have checked the status of this application from backend (using yarn command) it shows Progress : 100% State : FINISHED Final-State : SUCCEEDED Thanks, Shahrukh Khan

Hi @jh1688 , Can you share some screen shot or logs. and mean while please check - connectivity between your new host and cloudera manager server. check ports, use telnet/ping - make sure you are using right credentials/key of your new server

I found other simple solution for this issue, Simply find faulty partition from partition list by using command. show partitions table table_name; then rename the faulty partition to some other name in correct format of your partition. In my case, I used ALTER table table_name partition (date_flag='2021-11-25_bak') rename to partition (date_flag='2021-01-01');

Try setting below parameter and then try to execute the query. set hive.vectorized.execution.enabled=false; set hive.vectorized.execution.reduce.enabled=false; If this doesn't resolve then try set hive.auto.convert.join=false;
