Hi @Alex Woolford,

When I start Hortonworks Docker Sandbox from Oracle VM Virtual Box Manager , I receive the following error:

This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU.

This processor is unsupported in CentOS 7.

The Oracle VM Virtual Box Manager runs from in Windows 10.

Can you run other VMs? By default Windows and Windows BIOS is disabled and doesn't allow for this.

@Sanjiv Kumar

Try to do this.

1) 64-bit guests need hardware-virtualzation enabled in the hosts bios. Enable Intel VT-x/AMD-V from BIOS.

2) when creating the 64-bit guest you must select 64-bit in General -> Basic -> version.

@Ashnee Sharma

Thanks.

The 64-bit option is not available in the drop down General -> Basic -> version.
