Unable to delete folders on Virtualbox 2.5

Hi All

I seem to have some issues with the new Sandbox

If I create a folder with sub-folders, I am able to rm -rf it.

While attempting the following tutorial I am having some issues deleting folders NiFI Tutorial

I am trying to clear the /var/lib/ambari-server/resources/stacks/HDP/$VERSION/services/NIFI, so that I can download the required NIFI for the tutorial, but I get the following error:

8676-rmdir-error.png

When trying to move the folder

8677-mv-nifi.png

I am the root user, and have attemted to run these commands with SUDO, get the same issue

8678-whoami.png

Also when trying to just install Nifi using Ambari:

8679-ambari-also-unable-to-delete.png

I have tried using vmware 2.5, but I'm getting the connectivity issues highlighted here: VMWare connectivity issues, so cannot access the Ambari on that one

This is due to an issue in the docker HDP 2.5 Sandbox, which will be addressed with the next Sandbox release.

In the meantime, try the solution in the link below:

The new HDP 2.5 Sandbox has been released. If you re-download it you shouldn't face this issue any more.
