Please keep in mind the prerequisites: you need at least 8GB RAM to spare. Since you computer has 8GB, you may run into memory issues. Only way to find out is to give it a try.

, I am sorry to say that the tutorial you are trying run has not officially been updated to work with the latest HDP 2.6.4 sandbox. Please run tutorials that are published in the Hortonworks tutorials page.

@bernie zhang Just to confirm, you're using HDP 2.6.4, right? Are all sandbox credentials not working for you (i.e raj_ops, maria_dev, etc)? When you changed admin password, did ambari-server restart successfully? You should have see something like this: sandbox login: root
root@sandbox.hortonworks.com's password:

DB configs consistency check: no errors and warnings were found. After Ambari server restarted successfully, I was able to logon with new admin credentials. When you first logon to sandbox (shell-in-the-box or SSH) and use credentials root/hadoop, you are required to change the password. You may also use other sandbox credentials.

1. When you see a black/empty VM splash page, try pressing the "CTRL" key. 2. I've successfully ran on VirtualBox 5.2.6. I will upgrade to VirtualBox 5.2.8 and re-deploy. 3. On your browser, try connecting to localhost:4200, localhost:8080 and localhost:8888 - do they connect successfully?
