Hi!   Could you please be more specific as to which update was needed? I've upgraded my VMWare Tools to the latest ones but I assume we're talking about more Linux-kernel based upgrades which are not part of the VMWare Tools. I'm still experiencing exactly the same error as initially mentioned in this topic although I've upgraded my VMWare related stuff.     ... View more

Installed Cloudera Manager packages were for RHEL6. Uninstall cloudera-manager-agent and cloudera-manager-daemons. Adjust yum repository in /etc/yum.repos.d/cloudera-manager.repo to EL7 Install CM agent packages, now with the correct OS version. ... View more
