Hi All, Could you please share some scenarios or sample questions/video series with answer that can help to practice before writing exam? So far very few scenarios or use cases are coming to mind. Looking at the cost of test, we need to be very thorough before going for it.

I removed all java using yum uninstall java*...Then downloaded the fresh java from oracle website. Make sure you are not using OPEN java anywhere. Then set Java path properly. It should work then..

Please check your java version. It should be 1.8 or latest one.

If you choose to use a custom Java location, modify the host configuration to ensure the JDK can be found: Open the Cloudera Manager Admin Console. In the main navigation bar, click the Hosts tab and optionally click a specific host link. Click the Configuration tab. Select Category > Advanced. Set the Java Home Directory property to the custom location. Click Save Changes.

Hi All, I'm stuck at the cdh5.10 parcel distribution phase during parcel installation stage. The DNS and passwordless scp is working fine between 3 hosts (m.home.org,s1.home.org,s2.home.org)in virtualbox. As one can see in above snaps, its showing 100% downladed. But at the distribution it has been stuck for more than 6 hours now. And also I've 30 GB free space in /opt. What could be the reason? What is the solution? Regards, Mrinal

Zookeeper-error Hi There, I'm building a 3 node cdh v5.9 hadoop cluster on centOs7 guests. At the moment, I'm using cloudera manager to install all components. But I'm running into issue every single time. I've attached failure errors for hdfs & zookeper. Note, there is passwordless scp between servers, DNS is properly configured and also hosts are properly reachable. I've been trying this past 56 days with no success. The same config is working fine for apache hadoop. Hope I'll get some response before the expiry of cdh trail. Thanks, Mrinal
