@mqureshi The raw file written have the same problem when i view in "Files View" in Ambari. Perhaps the problem is when visualizing although the right encoding in UTF-8.

To get this started each time you restart your sandbox you can add a few lines to your rc.local startup script: - /etc/rc.local hadoop-daemon.sh start portmap hadoop-daemon.sh start nfs3 This will place logs for each service in /var/log/hadoop .

@Wynner I resolved my issue because in fact i have 3 environments, and i was ponting the listProcessor to the wrong environment. I have my local file system Windows 8.1, with VirtualBox, running CentOS 7, and on top of CentOS i have the sandbox, and i was pointing my folder to the CentOS layer. My /media/sf_SharedFolder was placed in CentOS and not in sandbox. I have to thank you for your help.

Answering my question i reinstalled the docker-engine and changed one line of code in docker.service file to: ExecStart=/usr/bin/dockerd --storage-driver=overlay Now it works. Thanks

@Francisco Pires It looks like something may have become corrupt. Here's a related docker issue (more explanatory than a solution) https://github.com/docker/docker/issues/18010 . A dmesg might help track things down

# service shellinaboxd status Your first command returns me "is running" and the port number is 4200. So i stopped witth: # service shellinaboxd stop and then # service shellinaboxd start And now it works, thanks @Jay SenSharma
